Hello,
First of all, a big compliment from me for this forum, really great
Now to my concern
My better half and I have now bought a house that we can start renovating diligently from next week The house was built in 1959 and has a natural gas connection directly to the house, at the moment there is a gas boiler installed from the 70s, which I now want to replace by installing a gas combi boiler. In other words, equip every room with radiators and of course also have hot water from the boiler. I have already obtained an offer from a company that sells me the boiler for 3000 euros and would also install it. So far no problem, but our financial resources are not exactly huge, so I could do a lot myself. However, I don’t know what type of gas pipes I should use. How deep do I have to chisel the grooves? What else do I have to consider? I will sit down with a professional next week to discuss how he envisions it. Unfortunately, I am not a professional and would like to inform myself in advance on how the whole thing works so that I can familiarize myself with the whole matter.
I would be very grateful for some advice
Best regards, Daniel
