Hello dear homeowners,
I have an urgent question (I am not an expert). So we are building an almost turnkey single-family house according to KFW 55 standard in northern Germany. In our construction specification, we have an external wall structure of:
17.5 cm Ytong blocks
11.5 cm clinker bricks
12 cm insulation
3 cm air gap
The clinker company finished the clinker this week (They took about 3 weeks). During the 3 weeks, I noticed that there is no air gap between the insulation and the clinker. (Insulation partly compressed) When I asked my site manager, he just said that everything is fine. Such a method is legitimate.
I really need help from professionals.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
