Is this also normal after 1.5 months like ants, or should I start to worry now? The baseboards look like this all around the room, not just on the exterior walls. Also, it is damp under the laminate, almost wet.

Did you do the flooring yourselves? Screed drying?

Now I would call the developer(?).

Sorry, general contractor, not property developer! We have already contacted him and are waiting for his feedback. I think now we do need our own expert to take a close look at it. It wasn’t even a cheap house construction. And now everything had just been finished so that we felt comfortable and settled in—

How did you find the moisture under the floor covering? After removing the moldings?

Yes, whether it is under the entire floor, I do not know. I only see the small edge where the laminate meets the foil and the foil meets the wall.

In my opinion, that is mold, yes. How long was the screed allowed to dry before the foil and laminate were laid?

Ants are a pest. Once you have them... we had them in the old rental apartment every spring and also in between. It was the first occupancy after renovation – the house was affected up to the attic (4th floor). Here in the house now too, after we renovated, but only on the ground floor. They were probably already there each time before. We spray ant poison on the skirting boards (caution with children and pets) and also place bait traps, that keeps them in check. Only the ants themselves know where the creatures come from. Well, we have an old building and you can’t really make it tight anyway. But ants in a new building together with mold and moisture in the floor is also something that makes me listen up.
