Mow municipal area only once per year

In case of doubt, I will probably do that as well. However, I will try to clarify this directly with the [Bauhof] of the municipality in advance. I suspect the [Bauhof] employees simply do not know that this piece still belongs to the municipality and therefore did not mow it. In the past, the farmer who used my property simply mowed it and used the hay.

I would also call the municipality. It’s slowly becoming a forest in the hollow. It’s strange that it was mowed on the sides... But with mowing once a year, you should still have the opportunity to lend a hand yourself. Otherwise, you might as well skip having a front yard garden.

The employees of the maintenance yard simply didn't know that this ditch belongs to the municipality. However, the employee at the building authority just played stubborn.
In the meantime, the municipality has also mowed it.
