Mounting IKEA PAX sliding doors on a hinged door corpus

I am currently in possession of a Pax box including hinged doors (2m wide, 2m high). Now I would like to switch to sliding doors, my question: Can I simply mount sliding doors on my old corpus? Or are special corpuses necessary? Hope for help.
