Do you know exactly where the beam runs, and does the whole thing also fit with the height of the carport?
I wouldn't screw it to the house. I would even leave a little more than 2mm of clearance. About 5cm. All structures move a bit due to wind load, and with a very small gap, I see the risk that the plaster might eventually get damaged.

Since the carport also serves as the roofing for the entrance, we would choose the distance to the house as small as possible with the cantilevered version (so that you don't get wet from above after all...)
