Us too. But I also wash my hair now and then without showering.

But there are cases where you can't really shower well either, e.g. a whole leg in a cast ... then you're glad to have a kitchen sink where you can easily put your head under to wash your hair. And the rest has to be cleaned the good old-fashioned way with a washcloth.

We did it this way, I like the look better. The sink is also designed for the faucet to be installed in the countertop behind it. We haven't noticed any disadvantages. You just have to seal it well, but you have to do that with the edge of the sink anyway. The drain of the sink is not in the center but rather towards the back, so the position of the faucet fits perfectly.

Edit: In the main kitchen, we did it differently. But that's due to the utility sink, which has a hole for the faucet. In my opinion, it's really a matter of taste and doesn't have any major pros or cons. The only thing is the sink and the faucet have to fit together / be made for each other.
