Hello everyone,
during a house viewing for a potential purchase, we saw a somewhat strange discoloration in a corner of a room in the basement (between an exterior wall and an interior wall). Unfortunately, the real estate agent and the owner could not tell us what it is.
We often have mold problems in our current apartment, but the spots look a little different and seemed slightly damp.
However, this spot was dry, almost like a dried coffee stain.
I know that a pure analysis based on a photo is difficult.
Maybe someone has an idea what it could be or if it is really mold?
The basement did not smell damp but really like living space (it was used as a practice).
The rest of the basement and the house are flawless.
The house was built in 2000.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards
