Well, doing it yourself is sometimes a bit better. In our case, it was done and apparently not 100% correctly.
Now it will be exciting to see how the construction company behaves. I can well imagine that they just want to spray some construction foam around it and be done.
Correctly, you would have to remove the entire attic ladder and re-tape the foil and then reinstall the attic ladder. Including all the work that arises from the measure, such as: replacing damaged OSB boards around it, re-plastering, sanding, covering with fleece, and painting. :eek:
