Hmm, it seems that the issue is less about the lack of sealing in the base area and more a problem of moisture from above at the retaining walls.

As with mcburns, the sand is reversed in the sides and it simply stores the moisture. Can I reverse or seal the sides with something else. The retaining walls are freshly plastered and therefore look like that.

Hello, I had another company here yesterday and they also said that the [Noppenbahn] is missing. We will probably have to ask the executing company again why it was not done.
