Mediterranean types of stone

Hello dear house building community,

A little about me:

I am 17 years old and think you can’t start early enough with house building. I have slowly started getting into house building about half a year ago. Since you are experts in the field, I wanted to first ask you which reading material you would recommend to me.

The actual question:

Of course, I already have ideas about how my house should look. My house should have a nice Mediterranean look and I found the following pictures on Google of my preferred type of stone:


I am interested in the slightly yellow type of stone on this picture of the house. (To the left and right of the white column)

Alternatively, also the stone type of the upper house :)

I hope you understand my association with my house:

It should be built with a yellowish Mediterranean type of stone =3 My idea would be sandstone, but that’s why I wanted to ask you. Thanks in advance for your help.
