Hello everyone,

we have chosen the following washbasins from Ikea for our future house:

Our installer who is currently laying the water pipes in the house told us he needs "dimension sheets showing the locations of the cold and hot potable water connections as well as the wastewater connections."

And now I'm standing here with no idea where to get those from...
Unfortunately, I couldn't find such information in the product details on the Ikea website or in the assembly instructions.

Does anyone here have any idea if Ikea provides something like this and where I can get it?
Maybe someone here needed that too?

I only found dimensions for the washbasins -> see attachment, and apparently, that's not enough.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards
Carrie

At Ikea, there are people working in the store who will design your bathroom with connections and such. Go there with a construction plan and preferably not on Saturdays at 1:00 PM. Better on Tuesdays at 10:15 AM. Karsten

At Ikea, there is actually more online than just the PDF above.

Our installer wanted that back then as well, which is why I inquired at IKEA. Customer service then responded that they only have the drawings included with the product or available for download online. Unfortunately not very satisfactory, so we assembled the furniture beforehand and checked on site where the connections need to be.

We are currently facing the same situation, interestingly even having chosen exactly the same washbasins as the thread creator.

Our installer wants a bathroom plan so that he knows exactly where the connections should go. And because that is not available at Ikea, he has now sent us to the bathroom fitter who will apparently do it. But of course only if we also buy the items from them.

For faucet, toilet & shower fittings gladly, but I do not see the price for base cabinets and mirror cabinets, especially since we like those from Ikea even better.

I will also stop by Ikea again and ask if they can draw a bathroom with connections. Otherwise, I will probably have to go with Teyla’s option, I just hope the installer does not put up resistance.

Guys, there is the Ikea bathroom planner online and there are people in the store who do that. And there is also the installation service for bathrooms at Ikea.
