Hello everyone,
yesterday the concrete basement ceiling was poured at our site. The construction manager called me around 8 p.m. yesterday and told me to water the ceiling. I then drove to the construction site for another 30 minutes and watered it thoroughly. This morning I was there again to water and on the ceiling there were a lot of small, but no deep cracks visible.
A bit of searching on the internet suggests that this indicates the concrete is curing too quickly due to the temperatures. Well, yesterday we measured 28°C. The construction manager has also been informed and will take a look on Monday.
I would be interested to know how serious these cracks are.
