Hi! I have four 60cm Omlopp strips that are supposed to go under four wall cabinets. However, the supply lines should not be routed to the back towards the back wall of the cabinet, but to the left towards the left end of the wall cabinets. That means behind the second lamp (counted from the right) there is one cable, behind the third two, and behind the fourth three cables; that’s going to be quite fiddly when mounting.

Is there a way to wire the Omlopp strips directly to each other or does each strip really need its own supply line?

I’m about to unscrew one of the strips, but maybe someone has already done this before me… :)

All OMLOPP need a separate power supply. At least in the original condition. Maybe the Utrusta or RATIONELL lighting series would be better suited if you want to connect several lamps into one long one.

In the original condition, yes, but maybe it can be modified. Has anyone done that successfully yet? UTRUSTA or RATIONELL are not a solution either; in terms of dimensions, they are nowhere near as discreet as the OMLOPP lights. An alternative might be an LED strip from a third-party provider, but it would also need to have a white aluminum profile with a maximum thickness of 1 cm, and the light should shine just as bright and evenly as the Omlopp lights. Suggestions …?
