They don't have to, if they pay for the land directly. Then they go into the race with the equity of 100k for the land. I would buy the land directly.

I refer here to , as the topic is comparable from my point of view. And from this I understood that a separate, variable land financing DOES NOT lead to having the financing bank hanging around forever. You can also repay the variable financing with the annuity loan for the house construction.

Thank you very much for your answers. We will apply and then buy the property without financing, provided we even receive an award. :)

Then we just have to see what we can realistically add on with our income without too much equity... :D
