Hello again I have now found a formula to calculate the heating power: Glass area x k-value x difference between outside and inside temperature (let's say -5 degrees to 20 degrees) That means: Glass roof: 26 x 5.7 x 25 = 3705 watts Glass walls uninsulated: 33 x 5.7 x 25 = 4702 watts Glass walls insulated: 33 x 1.1 x 25 = 907 watts That means I need 3705 watts + 4702 watts in a cold conservatory to have enough power to heat it to 20 degrees. If I use insulated glass I need 4702 watts - 907 watts less. Is that correct or am I totally wrong?
