Cork is one of the most beautiful floors I know ;-) Looks good, is nicely warm and easy to lay :-) Only sometimes it is a bit sensitive, especially when you place heavy [MÖbel] or so, then it’s best to put something underneath. But otherwise a TOP floor :-)

hi!

cork floors cost approximately between 15 and 35 euros per m². furthermore, it can be said that cork floors are very durable, which makes them ideal for rooms that experience heavy use.

best regards, listchecker :)

Thank you for your many hints and advice. I think I will go buy my cork floor in the next few days. Honestly, I had concerns about the durability and also the cleaning of the cork floor. But those have now been eliminated by the many tips. Is it really no problem to install the cork floor in a room with underfloor heating? That is the only last point that still makes me hesitate.
Best regards, gatita

hello gatita

a piece of cork the size of a "sugar cube" has around 60 million air cells! that is why cork has extremely high insulation values and is one of the best natural insulating materials - therefore underfloor heating naturally loses its efficiency.

best regards

Hello everyone,

I never thought that cork flooring insulates so well. I always had my doubts about it. Thanks to you, I have now been proven wrong. I always thought if cork, then on the wall as a bulletin board. But never on the floor. Now I will also do some research. Because maybe cork flooring is something for me too. I'll think about it. But your advice has really convinced me.

Hello everyone,
from experience I can say that cork flooring is much more durable than one might think. This flooring is excellent for living areas. Thanks to the outstanding insulating properties of the cork flooring, underfloor heating becomes unnecessary. Cork also looks great and makes every room something very special.
Best regards
Janni1403 :)
