Hello everyone,
we bought a plot in the northern Upper Palatinate (Bavaria). This plot is about 200 sqm and is located in a holiday home village.

We want to build a log cabin (16 or 20 cm thick wood) on it according to the development plan. There are two sizes of houses (A: 8 x 5.50 m, B: 9 x 5 m). Both houses have a regular gable roof and two floors (the upper floor, however, has a roof slope of 30 degrees).

Our questions:

- Who can give us general tips regarding a "good provider"? (There are so many providers, e.g., from Russia, Poland, etc.)

- What does such a house approximately cost in total at the end if you don’t do too much own work?

Thank you

Hello, we have also been looking for a suitable provider for a wooden house for half a year. At first, we favored [Finnhütten], looked at several providers, it was frustrating. Now we are building a wooden house in timber frame construction with a German provider, but the houses are produced in Estonia. That is the company Norges Hus. We strongly advise against the company Dunzik. Such a disappointment: terrible website, we made an appointment, went there, only to be told that the prices on the site were from 1996 and the house is now €30,000 more expensive. Impossible.

Hello . I am completely new here and would also like to build with Norges Hus. I wanted to contact you personally, but I can't yet because I am new. Anyway, I just wanted to ask again in detail about your experiences and what you have already checked there? I am still a bit skeptical about the reliability of Norges Hus.

Thanks for the hint I tried it with Google using Firefox and Chrome. I don't get any reviews. What are they like? Can you make a screenshot? Is that allowed here?

Command retracted. I made it. I have been abroad for some time and therefore never received the reviews. Now I manually changed the location and the reviews appear. 1.0, it couldn't be worse. I had suspected quite a bit already. And the few positive reports here look fake to me. These are all just assumptions, but I will definitely trust my gut feeling. Many thanks for this crucial tip.
