Actually, it’s quite simple: a couch on one side, the TV on the other. 1. the distance between these two objects must be right, 2. a sofa must fit in the width. When we were looking for a new couch 3 years ago, I was amazed that hardly anything was available under 3 meters. And if the kids want to play at the parents’ in the evening, there has to be a corner somewhere where that’s possible. Maybe you also want to actively play Wii in the evening... One or two stools for guests wouldn’t be bad either. If rooms are kept open, the spaces can be used more individually. With a closed living area, it ends somewhere. Take another look to see if you’ve considered everything.
