Hello,

We are currently building with an architect and the screed is in. A carpenter was here and measured our doors. According to the construction plan, the rough dimensions for the interior doors should be 2.13 m, so that the standard 2.11 m doors fit. He measured between 2.17 and 2.19 m. Is this a tolerance or is there an error? If so, who is liable? The structural engineer or the architect, since invoices have already been approved and paid.

After the screed, the floor coverings still come, then the difference shrinks again. I see no dramatic "gap" there, rather just a comfortable tolerance.

Our construction expert told me just the other day that you have to expect tolerances of up to 12% in a shell construction. Depending on the flooring, you will come to about 2.15m somewhere, with leveling compound even less. A door manufacturer should be able to compensate for that.

Height will fit well. The frame fits in comfortably and covers everything.
