Hello,
I got the Lindmon wooden blinds for my new apartment. Unfortunately, I am slowly becoming totally frustrated because these things are way too stiff. I have a total of 6 blinds in sizes 80x250, 120x250, and 140x250, so the largest ones.
To pull the blinds up, you really have to hang on the cords with a lot of force. On the first try, it happened right away: the wall plug tore out.
According to information online, 2 screws per bracket should actually be enough and they don’t even have to be the longest ones...
Anyway, I’ve redone everything now with a complete 12-screw setup (4x50 screws, 6x50 wall plugs).
Now the wall plugs hold for the time being, but it just doesn’t seem sturdy. I have to tug on the cord so hard that the brackets bend, and I’m afraid of snapping the cord. Pulling the blind all the way up only by the cord is rather unrealistic, I always have to push it up by hand, which is pretty annoying since they are mounted at a height of 2.50 meters...
Anyway, I feel kind of taken for a ride, because in my opinion these things are simply not practically usable. It can’t be the point that I always have to climb a ladder to lift the blinds, can it?
