Hello dear forum community,
we recently started building our single-family house. It is planned as a modern architect-designed house with KNX as the standard for home automation. There are the floors basement (UG), ground floor (EG), upper floor (OG), and attic (STG), whereby due to the structural requirements, almost exclusively concrete must be used.
Because of the concrete construction method, all flush-mounted positions for switches, sockets, lamps, and cable outlets must be precisely determined in advance, since later adjustments are very labor-intensive. Most floors will have suspended ceilings, while in the basement many installations will be surface-mounted. However, there will be no suspended ceiling in the upper floor, so for the upper floor, both the walls and the ceiling surface should be fixed before concreting.
Attached you will find the floor plan of the upper floor with the proposed positions for lights on the ceiling surface and walls by the architect. In the second version, I have made various adjustments, but as a layperson, I am uncertain about the planning of lights and flush-mounted installations.
Can the planning be implemented as is, or are there things in the ceiling surface that urgently need to be adjusted?
Best regards,
Stefan
