Here too, I am happy to enlighten you and describe our line of thought, even though this actually wasn’t the core of my inquiry. We are building the majority of the house as well as the basement ourselves, thus we are very, very flexible regarding the design & planning concerning the basement and the outdoor areas. The three rooms were planned as a wellness room, but were declared as living space in the detailed planning in order to rent it out. We planned this space as a backup for a potentially later necessary caregiver.

No problem, I have attached it here:

So far, we simply have not given much thought to the outdoor area yet, as we only want to tackle that topic once the building as such is standing, which from my point of view is not unusual. Only the light wells must already be set so that they can be backfilled.

Thanks to you all in advance.

Thank you for your contribution. We already have a very good landscape gardener on hand, but we just wanted to ask the collective intelligence about our case. I think that’s what the forum is for, right?

Are these all hints to the Rheingold and the Amber Room, that you painstakingly redacted in rough work? "Or" is the correct answer, because it is not Neiße. I'm out.

How high is the cistern? It looks like the water is supposed to flow uphill from the light well. Or is the water supposed to go directly into the sewer? Is that allowed with you?

We will place the drain directly in the light well, which then leads towards the ring shaft. This is located about 1.5 meters below the slab and has a height of 7 meters. Therefore, a slope from the light well to the shaft ring is definitely guaranteed. The basement will also be protected against pressurized groundwater. We have also installed drainage around the excavation pit and filled it with percolation gravel (see photo in the first post).
