Say goodbye to the pictorial idea of a stuffed animal with filling spilling out of a ripped seam. Liapor is not a hollow block with popcorn in the chambers, but rather a kind of pumice stone – only with clay instead of lava – and KLB, Bisotherm & Co are stones as stable elements. Apart from the filling, pumice like expanded clay has a structure somewhat coarser like aerated concrete or perforated bricks, similar to Edam compared to Gouda.
