A soakaway trench was planned by our house building company, 5x2x0.3
So it is planned almost as in my sketch, with the difference that two pipes should go into the soakaway trench (I used a Y-piece).
I have now dug the pipe a bit further so that I only come to about 50cm depth. The slope test was also successful.
So everything is fine.
However, I have one question now:
I bought a bit too much drainage fleece (they gave me the rest of the roll cheaper), is it okay if I also lay fleece under the gravel? It’s clear above the gravel, but underneath? Maybe it’s not necessary, but does it harm?
Oh, by the way: The whole neighborhood has the well, so I assume that at least the garden can be watered with it (of course, you shouldn't drink it and the strawberries don’t have to be watered with it either).
