Hello everyone,

I am looking for an LED star ceiling lamp for the bathroom. We have a special light outlet above the bathtub for such a lamp. The lamp should have many LEDs (around 100 pcs) and should pulsate (throb) like, for example, in steam baths, not just shine "continuously."

Paul Neuhaus has the "model" Night Sky. That is in the right direction but I haven't been able to find out if the lamp also "pulsates." Does anyone have experience with the lamp or know a manufacturer?

Thank you very much

I have personally only used light-conducting fiber optic cables since then; they do not conduct any electricity at all, and the light points are delicate.

Pulsating and throbbing: In a commercial facility, people only stay for a short time and do not visit very often. For the operator, the wow effect is important, and the impression lasting for a long time has worked well.

In a private wellness area, it is advantageous to carefully question the goal. If the focus is on relaxation, then things that set a tempo or possibly increase the beat rate are worth reconsidering.

Anyone who wants to relax faster needs to reduce external stimuli, not increase them. I would say the same about a television in the wellness area, fast color changes, or psychedelic, wavering, moving color projections. This is just general advice; everyone has to consider it for themselves. You need different concepts for private areas than for commercial ones, as the length of stay is completely different, as is the service life of the facility.

Best regards Gabriele
