Hello everyone,
in a few months, construction is supposed to start. Some questions are still open, such as this one:
At the property boundary (on the street side) there are 7 fir trees (blue firs), which are estimated to be 5-8m high. The house will be 8m away from the property boundary, so about 7m from the center of the trunks. I can only estimate the age of the firs, >30 years. The trees stand quite close together, the distance from trunk to trunk is between 1-2m.
Now the question: would you leave the firs standing, as a privacy screen, shade provider (solar is not shaded, the terrace in summer from about 4 pm), ecology, etc???
On the other hand, what about storms? Firs have shallow roots, storms will occur more frequently in the future, and if the trees fall, it will get "tight".
