Hello forum

Attached is our drainage plan.

About 42m need to be "excavated"
About 25m of main pipe for wastewater need to be laid
About 41m of main pipe for rainwater need to be laid.

I have now received a fixed price. The company charges 900€ for these works including tightness testing.

I wanted to roughly calculate that:

In total I need about 66m of KG main pipe with DB 125. The meter costs approximately, let's say, 4.50€
That comes to about 300€. Plus seals, branches, and bends, let's estimate it at 350€.

So there remain 550€ for the excavation, laying, and backfilling. What do you think, is that reasonable? Let me put it this way, if it should be possible to do this work in one day, meaning start at 7:00 a.m. and finish at 5:00 p.m., I find an hourly wage of 55€/h already somewhat high, or am I on the wrong track?

Regards

Including machines and equipment... Equipment acquisitions have to be recouped somewhere, which is why a different meter price results than in a layman's calculator with price information from the hardware store. Should be listed in the offer though

I can't do much with the answer. I even think that the hardware store prices are set too high, since the professional certainly gets it cheaper. And again: 55€/h for the installation was my question (including machines and equipment) and nothing else, so the "hardware store prices" are even excluded? Who has concrete experience?

I find that extremely cheap. The pipes are not just simply buried. They are usually "packed" in sand. We paid around €1,500 for our drainage (only SW).

So the price includes excavation, laying, "closing up", compacting, and rough grading. For wastewater, a branch is installed outside the house before every outlet for flushing, so in our case two...

Isn't a maintenance shaft supposed to be installed there as well?
