The weeds must be dead before sowing, so spray Roundup once, wait 48 hours, then cultivate. The dead weeds act like organic fertilizer for the soil, enough for germination. Keep in mind, nitrogen fertilizer is not without risk, just a bit too much, and the plant to be fertilized dies from overdose. The young grass is still very sensitive at that stage. Wait for the first cut, then fertilize. That's safer.

However, I would rake everything smooth again after milling. Because after milling, the surface looks more like a wild field. Of course, it also depends on the milling machine, but it should penetrate quite deeply into the soil to loosen it.
