Edit: after fertilizing, I water for 2 hours each day for 3 consecutive days.

Lawn needs water, water and more water… Fertilize 3x p.a. And mow around the clock.

Yesterday after watering it looks like this (so much better). Still, I don’t understand why there are partly such bare spots, while other places remain nicely green.

For me, it depends on the substrate. I also have areas that simply do not retain water. If you dig there, after 10 centimeters the topsoil is 50% mixed with gravel and other debris. I am now growing clover. It stays green longer.
