On the other hand, it is rather common practice that reputable providers - architects anyway - already include/recommend a soil survey as standard.
The soil survey is included in our offer as well, but the whole thing only starts when you own the land, and normally the financing is completed by then and you usually don’t keep tens of thousands in reserve to finance soil problems. So it gets tricky already before the first shovel hits the ground.
