Hello!

I have a general question... if I purchase a plot of land but do not yet have the building partner I want to work with, how does the financing work? Do I have to start paying the installments already? Or can I still pay it off together with the house??

Is it best to organize both at the same time? Or do the banks set a period after which you have to start paying for sure??
We want to start paying the installments together with the house.

Thanks in advance..

Best regards, Mano

As a rule, it will be the case that the interest payment starts with the withdrawal of the first funds from the bank. The repayment payment then only begins with the full disbursement. The banks usually do not give away money here. If necessary, one can secure such a regulation through a slightly higher interest rate, etc. When planning the financing, one should also take into account that interest is already paid during the construction phase and at the same time rent must still be paid. So there is a double burden.

In such a case, it will probably be a matter of negotiation; if the bank is willing to wait, then it will be possible.
But you must be aware that you will have a double burden for a few months.
