Hello everyone, about 3 months ago we moved in and by now everything is finished. In the stairwell we have a small gallery and I am currently facing a problem here that I have not been able to solve so far.

Here a lamp with 3 balls is to be mounted (outlet visible in the ceiling). During the construction phase, 2 beams were built into the walls here and covered with scaffold boards. Of course, I no longer have these available now.

How would you carry out the lamp installation here or do I really have no choice but to set up an entire scaffold from below?

Looking forward to the creative ideas!

You won't get around using scaffolding there. Pendant lights in such a stairwell are always a real eye-catcher but catastrophic during installation and also just when changing the light bulb. I don't even want to talk about cleaning the light fixture.

What is to be made of a large ladder?

Cleaning is a nightmare. That's why you should buy a proper ladder (sturdy/high-quality) with which you can level!

Oh, the same problem as with us. Luckily, we have a staircase with a landing where I can work well with a ladder. Luckily, the ceiling is so high and far away that we can easily reach the light socket with the bulb. Unfortunately, this probably won't work for much longer....

In our old house, the holes for these beams were only temporarily closed. If one wanted to, they could have been used. Is it the same with you? Are you sure the brackets are no longer there?
