Hello everyone,
we are removing 40m² of tiles and 15m² of those will be retiled (kitchen), the rest will be covered with laminate (living-dining area).
So my questions are now,
do I have to consider anything with the laminate?
There is underfloor heating in the screed, at Toom they recommended Knauf's Faserflex leveling compound suitable for underfloor heating, all other hardware stores partly don’t carry this and recommend others.
Does this have to be suitable for underfloor heating? Do I need to level the area where the laminate is going or is something else enough?
Are there any special features regarding impact sound insulation?
Sorry for the many questions, this is my first solo construction project and my father would do many things differently but I don’t know if that’s correct.
Thank you very much for the help
best regards Manuela
