Hello everyone,

I had a problem with our kitchen seller, our kitchen has now been assembled. He wants the remaining payment to be made in cash, he does not want a bank transfer.

The agreement was also made in writing in the purchase contract.

My problem?

There is an investigation against this seller, so I want to transfer the amount to him. I have heard that his account has been seized.

Question:

Is there anything speaking against it?

What speaks against simply paying in cash? Go to the bank, withdraw it, and hand it to him. That way you get rid of all problems, and whether his account has been seized may be, but it shouldn't concern you.

As long as you get a receipt for the payment, you couldn't care less.

The tax office only accepts transfers ...... for deductions.

What do you want to deduct? Is the kitchen construction even a household-related service, separate from a new build?
