Hello everyone,

does anyone happen to have kitchen faucets in granite look and can share their experiences? Any notable advantages or disadvantages compared to chrome-plated faucets? Cleaning, etc. So faucets that are made for sinks from granite composite material (e.g. Blanco Silgranit). Do they only have the appearance like the matching sinks or are they also coated with this granite composite material? Many thanks

Those I know (but that was a few years ago) were basically covered with a foil in the optic. After a few years and intensive use, it peeled off at the spots where there was friction. I would always prefer a good chrome (matte/glossy) faucet.

But it could be that something has changed over the years and the stuff holds up better today (10 years later).

We have it in our second kitchen - the faucet is now 6 years old and still looks very good. From Blanco - but in the main kitchen we now have a chrome/stainless steel one - somehow looks better.
