Bauknecht has belonged to Whirlpool for over 25 years. That is why they no longer know what women want.

Ikea expert you are the best! I couldn't find it.. But the prices are really steep!

But I guess I have to get through it. Thanks again

If only I knew now how to get the part out. Inside is totally cramped I can't reach it at all and lifting it out from the outside doesn't work either. I assume it has to come out to the outside?

Unfortunately, manufacturers have been charging very heavily for spare parts for several years. According to the picture, it looks like the part is glued in. To avoid any damage, it will be best to push it out from the back. It can break in the process.

ah you mean the red is a foil with adhesive underneath? yes then I'll wait until the part arrives and take a look at it. definitely expensive but still better than having to buy a new one

Perhaps a special adhesive is used for this. Take a look when you have the part, ask customer service if necessary, and report back here.

The part has arrived and somehow I have doubts that it fits. I absolutely cannot get the old one out either. In any case, you can’t get it out from the outside. It must probably come out from the inside. But that doesn’t work because it is screwed in tightly on the inside. I think I would have to take the entire hood off to get to it from the inside. The part is really massive, meaning the old control unit. The new one is much thinner and you can see in the photo that there is still a circuit board behind it and a real button. This does not exist on the new one; everything probably happens on the thin circuit board when pressing. I hope you know what I mean. I don’t know what to do anymore...
