KfW Online Confirmation for Bank Financing

Hello everyone,

We have been offered a very favorable interest rate by our bank that we do not want to miss out on.

We want to build a KfW55 house and the interest rate is so good that we do not want to wait until July.

What exactly does the energy consultant need in order to get the KfW online confirmation number that we need for the bank for financing?

Is the complete energy saving ordinance calculation report already necessary? Then I am pessimistic because we only have the favorable interest rate guaranteed for one more week and the energy consultant will probably need longer to prepare it.

We want a trench collector and have not yet decided on the heating system or heat pump.

What does the energy consultant say he needs? For various things, he will also be able to work with assumptions.

I do not know how it is with the new BEG application or if anything has changed there. Our "old" KfW153 application already included precise values of the building. For example, the following is queried:
    [*]Heating system used [*]Heated building volume [*]Considered window area [*]Considered door areas [*]Annual primary energy demand [*]Transmission heat loss [*]Thermal bridges [*]etc.
The data is sometimes already very detailed, especially with the areas; I think entering any dummy values will not work. If you are finalizing the financing now but only starting in July, always keep in mind the commitment interest and arrange corresponding periods.

It is as erazorlll says, you have to have the energy saving ordinance verification from the energy consultant completed in order to get the KfW number.

The data is only checked for plausibility, so one could also enter favorable estimates from a comparable project. Ultimately, the calculation after execution is what counts, but it can happen that the desired standard is not achieved then. The risk would be too great for me, however, the calculations must be completed before construction anyway. Many colleagues also still calculate according to the old DIN.
