KfW 261 - Replacement of oil heating with heat pump - disposal of oil heating

We transferred the remaining heating oil into the rental building, sold the oil heating system with the small displays for several hundred euros plus self-removal, and gave away the emptied heating oil tanks for self-collection. The latter was only possible because the house was being demolished and the tanks could be lifted out of the basement in one piece. Alternatively, the remaining heating oil could be given away in exchange for the dismantling of the old tanks. We had informed ourselves beforehand whether we as private individuals were allowed to do all this ourselves, and of course that is the prerequisite for this. The energy consultant usually only confirms the achievement of the funding target at the end.
