Keep birds away with animal models

hello :) do animal models of cats or birds of prey keep birds away from berry bushes etc.?

If they do that, then not for long. Birds get used to it quite quickly and then the lively feeding continues.

What is supposed to help are audio screams of birds of prey, but who wants that in the garden?

We are also badly plagued by hordes of small sparrows... At first cute, as they hop around in the garden in groups of 20-40, but the first lettuce harvest was gone, and everything outside is mercilessly shit on... my car looks like a fly agaric mushroom in blue every week :)

What can you do? Nothing and tell yourself: you wanted to live in the countryside, so deal with it :D

I can't say.

My wife bought a raised bed at the beginning of the year. She didn't fill it to the brim with soil and then put a net over it. That way the seeds were far enough away from the birds. So there was also lettuce.

Fortunately, we have a moderate number of birds in the garden.

In the city, that definitely works. If there is a crow specimen standing on the balcony, then no bird can be seen anywhere around.
