Hello house builders,
regarding the joints between semi-detached houses, I have two questions. The two semi-detached houses are built offset, i.e. the pink and the white wall in the pictures are perpendicular to each other.
1) Elastic joint at plaster profile Is an elastic joint required between the plaster profile and the white wall (see the following picture)?
2) Existing opening Above the black sealing compound there is still a thumb-wide opening through which one can reach into the gap between the two semi-detached houses. Is it not absolutely necessary to close this?
Although the opening is not visible in the picture, I have included it anyway to illustrate the situation.
