Hello,
the walls in our basement should be plastered with red lime plaster. The basement dates from the 1930s and is slightly damp. Therefore, we wanted to have a diffusion-open lime plaster during the renovation. Now we have seen that Styrofoam is mixed in the plaster. Can this still be lime plaster or does it indicate lime-cement plaster?
Our construction manager claims that it is lime plaster.
The problem now is that the plaster molds immediately with increased humidity.
Thank you for your experiences
