Is there a guideline for the amount of bitumen coating?

Hello everyone,

you can probably guess my question from the title. Is there a guideline on how thick the bitumen coating on the outside of the insulation ([Pink insulation material]) must be? The basement is a white tank.

Depending on the load case, there are specifications from the manufacturer, usually 3-4 mm

That will be specified by the manufacturer of the coating. I would try to find out who that is and then inquire there.

A look at the metal canisters standing on the construction site will surely suffice ....
