Is the use of finger-jointed wood in wooden stairs concerning?

In the contract, I have self-supporting wooden stairs with finger-jointed wood. Is the use of this material concerning for any elements of the stairs in terms of durability or robustness?

Concerning? Absolutely not. They are quite common and normal steps. The more affordable option compared to block-glued steps.

You mean because of the night? I doubt that you can see that in everyday life. At least I don't see it. I have to get within 30cm or less to see the spots.
