Is the offer for controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery justified?

By now it should be clear to you that GUs have their own prices for upgrades. You have been around for several months... haven’t you also read other threads? GUs give you a longer warranty for the house than a craftsman (2 years). These are mixed calculations. And if he charges 20,000 – what do you want to complain about? The catalog house price or the calculated price of the house is a price without special features. What the expensive Schwörerhaus or Weberhaus already include, must be paid additionally with the cheaper GU. And yes, looking ahead: the chimney for the fireplace can also cost 5-6000.

There was a construction meeting where a bit more was requested again (e.g. the bathroom is larger than in the standard house and thus more tiles are needed, etc., but all within limits). And within that scope, the offer for the controlled residential ventilation also came up.
As a package, the company even offers underfloor heating + recoVAIR 360 + E55 insulation + hot water heat pump for 25,000 €, I only pay 21,000 € for underfloor heating + recoVAIR.
So I can ask again about a lower price or consider going for this package right away if it stays that way...

I understand that too. It’s true – if you have no demands, you can also build cheaply. But demanding fantasy prices right away, I also find cheeky.

Luckily, we already have the chimney. I think it was around 5000 with everything included.

No one says it isn’t bold. Of course, it’s profit-oriented to some extent. But for that, he builds the standard construction service description for you at a much lower price than with individual trades. However, if you want something like that (more features), you have to decide from the start on a different general contractor.
