Is the floor drain pump for the shower a reliable long-term solution?

Hello everyone,

my current old shower is to be replaced by a more modern one.
In itself, this would be simple if it weren't for the annoying problem of the insufficient drainage slope. The current drain in the shower tray is about 6 cm above the tiled floor.
For the desired flush-floor drain, I have therefore planned a floor drain pump. What stops me from implementing this is that I cannot imagine that this is a permanent, reliable solution.
As an alternative, a shower tray raised by about 6 cm would be conceivable. An "old school" solution with an entrance threshold, which I actually no longer want.
My question therefore is:
Does anyone have experience with long-term use (> 5 years) of floor drain pumps and can dispel my concerns from their own experience?

Thank you very much.
