Yes, the load-bearing walls are aligned above each other. At least one thing our architect didn't mess up.

I’m afraid you’ll have to resort to special limited editions from the aerated concrete manufacturer if you want to enforce an identical U-value with the same wall thickness. Structural calculation values will then certainly be different.

The new shell builder may possibly not take any risks and will not execute the planning with a different material than intended. However, I would be surprised if the shell builder of your choice shouldn’t also process bricks instead of aerated concrete. Possibly more expensive, but you don’t become a mason if you can only work with one building material. They can do that too...
