Hello everyone,
I have been a homeowner for 3.5 years. I was not the builder but purchased the terraced middle house. At that time, it was a first occupancy. Today, while cleaning the cellar shafts for the first time, I noticed that the facade at one cellar shaft is not completely plastered. Below the cellar window, the plaster layer on the facade gets thinner and then ends completely. The insulation is practically exposed (is visible). As far as I can see, during the exterior painting work, the insulation was simply painted white, and thus the defect is not easily visible from the terrace. Now I am considering informing the builder about this defect. My question is whether this is purely an aesthetic error or if consequential damage is to be expected due to the missing plaster.
Thank you very much for your answers,
best regards
