I find stucco ceilings so beautiful, but I have only seen them in very old houses and apartments so far. Is it still possible to have something like that made today? Are there still plasterers who can do this well and want to do it?

Stucco ceilings are really very beautiful! And as far as I know, they are still made today, although very very rarely. Above all, you should make sure that the plasterer still has a lot of experience and shows you samples of his work!

Hello! So if I have found someone who has actually learned this, I definitely ask for work samples beforehand! Thanks for the answers! -Do you happen to know where to look for such a plasterer? Is there an association or something??

Hello! Yes, there is actually an association. -The German Stuccoworkers' Association. You can surely find it on the internet. Maybe one could inquire there about which bricklayers are active in that area?!

Hello again! I found another association. -the professional association of plasterers for interior finishing and facade (SAF) -headquartered in Stuttgart. I don't know where is the best place to ask, but if they can't tell you anything, just check with the others as well ;)
