I have made a sketch. The front door is already there, so the extension is rather not an option, or can it still be added at the bottom afterwards?

and what is on the viewer side of the door? Or rather, what does the door connect? Two basement rooms (with the same finished floor level) or does the door lead outside?

Leads outside.. with the interior doors, the 18cm thick floor structure solves the problem.

Well, if you can go outside, you can treat it like a front door. So the doubling / frame widening as suggested by in the correct, required dimension.

The correct search term for the mEA would be "Bodeneinstandsprofil". It can also be installed afterwards.

Ok - thanks and what if I already have the front door? So without widening? ..well if you can go outside you can treat it like a front door. So the doubling / frame widening as suggested by in the correct, required dimension.
